Vishay has introduced a new thin-film BRCP strip MOS capacitor designed for high-power hybrid components as well as SiC and GaN applications. BRCP provides high-power processing and operating voltages up to 100V in two compact housings with dimensions of 120mm x 35mm (case A) and 240mm x 35mm (case B), allowing smaller sizes without sacrificing performance product design.
With its high operating voltage in the range of 5pF to 100pF capacitance and rugged MOS structure, the devices released today are optimized for LC, RC or LRC filters; RF chokes; DC blocking and impedance matching. For these applications, BRCP can accommodate multiple wire bonds, with the lowest values ??being the seven keys of A and the 15 keys of B.
Bar capacitors have low TCC as low as ± 50ppm / C and absolute tolerances as low as ± 5%. The company states that the device has excellent load life stability and can operate over a wide temperature range from -55C to + 150C .
