Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Co., Ltd. released AONS30300, a 30V low pass resistor MOSFET. AONS30300 has a high SOA function and is very suitable for demanding applications, including hot plug and eFuse.

In server hot plug applications, high SOA is critical, and MOSFETs must be robust to effectively manage high inrush currents. AONS30300 has a pulse width of 10ms and an SOA limit of~48V at 10VDS, providing high SOA robustness. This new MOSFET is provided in a compact DFN 5x6 package. When the applied gate source voltage is equal to 10VGS, the maximum Rd (sub) is 0.58mOhm. In addition, AONS30300 is rated Tj=175C.
