   The NXP Semiconductors PN5190 NFC Frontend is a highly integrated near field communication (NFC) forum-compatible Frontend IC for 13.56MHz contactless communication.The device provides powerful RF output power, adaptive waveform shaping function and high receiver sensitivity. At the same time, it adopts energy-efficient mode to increase battery life. The device is ideal for use in challenging RF and space constrained environments, such as POS terminals or electronic locks.

   The wide temperature range of the device allows for operation in both industrial and outdoor environments. The high output power and reception sensitivity of the device, even with smaller antennas, provide a wide communication range, providing high performance in space-constrained designs. Powerful rf interfaces and data rates up to 848kbit/s further meet the needs of e-readers and application scenarios that rely on fast device-to-device communication. When used with ISO/IEC 15693 devices, it provides fast sensor readouts up to 212kbit/s or firmware updates.

   The complex analog power supply design further reduces the interference of the received signal, resulting in a receiving sensitivity of 0.3mVrms. Adaptive receiver control adjusts receiver sensitivity for better reception performance. The device also provides superior noise resistance, even in applications where rf fields encounter external interference. 

   To simplify the design, encryption is implemented on the hardware to enable all read and write based on the MIFARE card. It communicates with all FeliCa and MIFARE card products. Intellectual property licenses for NXP ISO/IEC 14443-A, Innovatron ISO/IEC 14443-B and NXP MIFARE products are already included in the equipment.The device is packaged in VFBGA-64 and HVQFN-40 and has an operating temperature range of -40 ° C to +105 ° C.
