TLV702 series Low voltage drop (LDO) linear regulators are low static current devices with excellent line and load transient performance. These Ldos are designed for power sensitive applications. A precise bandgap and error amplifier provides overall accuracy of 2%. Low output noise, very high power suppression ratio (PSRR) and low voltage drop make this family of devices ideal for a wide selection of battery-operated handheld devices.
Typical Application Circuit
For safety, all device versions have hot shutdown and current limits. In addition, these devices are stable with effective output capacitance of only 0.1μF. This feature enables the use of cost-effective capacitors with higher bias voltages and temperature derates. The device adjusts to the specified accuracy without output load.
Pin Configuration
The TLV702P series also provides an active pull-down circuit for rapid discharge output. LDO linear regulators are available in SOT23-5 and 1.5mm × 1.5mm WSON-6 packages.
