Texas Instruments' TPS564201 is an easy-to-use 4A synchronous buck converter in a SOT23 package.
The device is optimized to operate with a minimum number of external components and also enables low standby current.
These switching power supplies use D-CAP2 mode control to provide fast transient response and support low equivalent series resistance output capacitors (such as specialty polymers) and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors without the need for external compensation components.
The device operates in pulse skip mode and maintains high efficiency during light load operation. It is available in a 6-pin 1.6mm x 2.9mm SOT (DDC) package and is rated for junction temperature ranging from –40C to 125C.
