TDK announced the release of more compact versions of its compact B43640 and B43644 series aluminum electrolytic capacitors, rated at 400V and 450V. Compared to previous versions, they are 15% more compact. All types are suitable for a maximum operating temperature of 105C.
All versions of the B43640 series have a design life of 2,000 hours. They provide capacitances between 120µF and 1000µF (400V) and between 82µF and 820µF (450 V). Dimensions are in a standard grid of 22mm x 25mm to 35mm x 55mm (dxh) depending on the rated capacitance and voltage.
On the other hand, the B43644 series has a service life of 5000 hours. The capacitance range of these devices is between 100µF and 820µF (400V), or between 68µF and 680µF (450V). These types have dimensions in a standard grid of 22mm x 25mm to 35mm x 55mm (dxh).
The new capacitors are suitable for applications such as converters, power supplies and home appliances.
