TDK Corporation has expanded its EPCOS B32754 * series to the B32758 * series of AC filter capacitors. They now include a voltage range of 250VAC to 400VAC and offer capacitors from 1μF to 70μF. Capacitors comply with IEC 61071: 2007 and have excellent durability even under high humidity. This has been confirmed in a THB test of 1344 hours (equivalent to 56 days) performed at 60 ° C, 95% relative humidity and applied rated voltage according to IEC 60384 14: 2013 / AMD1: 2016 level 3 test A.
These capacitors have a maximum operating temperature of 105 ° C and their epoxy-filled enclosures meet UL 94V-0. Depending on the capacitance and rated voltage, the lead spacing is 27.5mm, 37.5mm or 52.5mm.
Due to their ruggedness, these capacitors are ideal for the demanding applications of industrial electronics, including output filtering of power supplies, drives and inverters or UPS systems for renewable energy.
