Richtek's RTQ6052 high side current shunt monitor includes a current sensing amplifier, a bandgap reference, and a comparator with latch output. The RTQ6052 has a built-in open drain comparator and an internal reference that provides a 0.6 V threshold. The external divider sets the current trip point.
It senses the drop in the common mode voltage from 2v to 80v shunt, and supports the output voltage scale of 100V/V. The comparator has latch capability, which can be easily realized by grounding (or opening) RESET pin. RTQ6052 is a small 8-pin MSOP package
