The Renesas Electronics CK-RX65N Cloud Kit product provides a complete connectivity solution that enables engineers to rapidly prototype Internet of Things (IoT) clouds without the need for complex custom circuits and software stacks. The kit enables users to securely connect to the cloud to monitor various operational states in applications such as smart homes and buildings, healthcare, and industrial monitoring and control.
The Renesas Electronics CK-RX65N Cloud Kit contains the CK-RX65N board, RYZ014A Pmod board, SIM card, antenna and necessary cables. Based on the Renesas RX65N microcontroller product group, the CK-RX65N board offers a variety of on-board sensors including temperature, humidity, air pressure, blood oxygen saturation, indoor/outdoor air quality, and nine-axis MEMS motion tracking. The board also features two MEMS microphones, an onboard debugger, and Pmod and Arduino Uno interfaces for easy addition of sensors and modules.
The kit features Ethernet network connectivity while also providing CAT-M1 connectivity via the RYZ014APmod expansion board, which combine to enable seamless cloud connectivity to most global cloud service providers. The kit includes a complete software stack that supports various middleware stacks such as FreeRTOS, Azure RTOS, etc. It is an ideal platform for efficient development of cloud solutions and significantly shortened time-to-market.
