RECOM extends its range of DC/DC converters with the new surface mount 3W isolated RSH series with wide input range. The nominal input of this series is 12V (9-18V) and 24V (18-36V), suitable for battery or bus powered system. Outputs are 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, +/-12V and +/-15V. These modules feature short-circuit and overcurrent protection and require only a simple external filter to meet the input noise requirements of EN 55032 class A or B. The modules have no minimum load requirements, and on/off control is standard.
RECOM's RSH3 series of DC/DC converters is an extension of the successful RSH2 series, featuring surface mount, fully regulated, low noise and 3W isolated output. The nominal input of this series is 12V (9-18V) and 24V (18-36V), suitable for battery or bus powered system. Outputs are 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, +/-12V and +/-15V. These modules feature short-circuit and overcurrent protection and require only a simple external filter to meet the input noise requirements of EN 55032 class A or B. The modules have no minimum load requirements, and on/off control is standard.
The RSH3 series operates without derating from -40°C to over 80°C, making it ideal for demanding industrial, test and measurement, and transportation applications. The module has an isolation rating of 2kVDC/60s (3kVDC/60s is optional), has UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 certification and is RoHS-3 compliant. The RSH3 series is housed in a compact, lightweight DIP14 SMD housing and is available in tube or tape and reel packaging. Modules can be IR bake or vapor phase reflow soldered using industry standard JEDEC.
