The TDK InvenSense T5837 and T5838 bottom port microphones are multi node low-noise digital microphones that provide a small package. These microphones come with a standard 3.5 mm x 2.65 mm x 0.98 mm surface mount package with multiple operating modes. They are compatible with tin/lead and lead-free welding processes and comply with RoHS/WEEE standards.

These microphones also include a MEMS microphone element and an impedance converter amplifier, followed by a fifth order Σ-Δ Modulator. The digital interface enables the pulse density modulation output of two microphones to use a single clock for time multiplexing on a single data line. They are ideal for many applications, including microphone arrays, smartphones, tablets, and cameras.
