Ohmite's current sense resistors are available in many common sizes and packages. The resistor is used to monitor the current in the circuit through the voltage drop and control circuit. The characteristic of the current detection resistor is that the resistance value is small to minimize the power consumption. Ohmite's resistors have a TCR value as low as 40 ppm, a resistance as low as 0.0005 ohm, a tolerance as low as 0.5%, and various mounting options from SMD to SOT-227 heat sink. The power consumption of the SOT package ranges from 0.125W to 100W.
