Hylec-APL announces the release of the Debox 11, a general purpose, rugged IP66/ip67 rated surface mount junction box developed for projects used indoors or outdoors, including exterior lighting, outbuildings and anything exposed to water or dust Entering, such as industrial environments, it is the latest junction box to join the company's Debox family, and like the rest of the Debox junction box family, it saves electrical professionals installation time with its thoughtful ergonomic design. The 8 side entry points also provide an M20 sized threaded entry cable gland which eliminates the need for an internal lock nut and provides a higher degree of protection to IP67. It also has ten cable entries, two on each side and two more on the bottom of the box. All soft membrane caps offer a quick pierce self-sealing system rated IP66.
The wires are easily and quickly connected to the box with 5 x three pole screwless connectors provided. The cable has a minimum diameter of 3mm and a maximum diameter of 12mm. Maximum voltage 400V, 32A. Internally, five connectors maintain a secure die mount. Also, if the application requires a PCB, it provides four PCB fixing posts on the base to take a PCB mounting plate. After inserting the wires, the cover is securely fastened to the two included cover captive screws.
In order to ensure the safety of the external fixation, the box provides two convenient installation methods: the internal fixation has four screw fixing points at the four corners, and the external fixation has two unique fixing ears on the side, no external fixation device is required.
The sturdy case is made of black and measures 85mm wide x 85mm deep x 53mm high. Made of RAL9003 flame retardant, impact resistant polypropylene, rated for use from -30°C to +100°C.
