Monolithic Power Systems MP4559 buck converter is a versatile high frequency switching regulator with integrated high-end high voltage power MOSFETs for applications such as high voltage power conversion, automotive systems, industrial, distributed and battery power systems.
The MP4559 provides a 1.5A output with current mode control for fast loop response and easy compensation. The input range is 3.8V to 55V to accommodate many buck applications, such as automotive input environments. The quiescent current in shutdown mode is 12µA, so the MP4559 is suitable for battery-powered applications. By reducing the switching frequency under light load conditions, higher power conversion efficiency can be achieved over a wider load range.
