Littelfuse has announced an extension to its ITV9550 line of surface-mounted lithium battery protectors. These fuses protect the battery pack from overcurrent and overcharge (overvoltage) conditions.the new ITV9550 is a 60 amp, three terminal fuse with a size of 9.5 x 5.0 mm. The innovative design incorporates a built-in fuse and heater assembly for fast response and reliability to disconnect the battery pack's charging or discharging circuits before overcharging or overheating conditions occur.
