Infineon Technologies AG's OPTIGA™ Trust M security chip has become the first security platform to be CLS-Ready certified by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA). As the number of IoT devices increases, so does the number of cyber-attack incidents. The new CLS-Ready program makes it easier for manufacturers of smart products, especially small and medium-sized businesses, and manufacturers of products and systems not traditionally involved in cybersecurity, to meet the highest CLS 4 security level requirements by streamlining the certification process. In the CLS-Ready program, smart product manufacturers can take hardware components that have passed CLS 4 safety level testing, the CLS-Ready platform, and integrate them into commercial products. Therefore, any product built on the CLS-Ready platform can rely on the platform's existing certification system to achieve CLS 4 security level requirements.
