Harting expands the Han-Eco family of lightweight plastic connectors, adding new ultra-thin 10-A and 16-A housings to provide compact, space-saving interconnect solutions that reduce weight and cost
The slimmer design means that Han-Eco now represents an attractive plastic alternative in many applications. In particular, for the components on the back of the switch cabinet, simply plug the cable with the pre-wiring plug-in and the fixed frame into the partition shell installed on the back of the cabinet, and you can choose the traditional front installation method.
The Han-Eco A series includes covers with straight or side cable entry, bulkhead or surface mount enclosures, and cable-to-cable covers. In addition, a flexible protective cover is available for retrofitting the next-door and surface-mounted enclosure.
The new housing is compatible with the corresponding metal housing on the plug. They are suitable for applications in industrial environments and also for external applications in outdoor models with UV and ozone resistant FPM seals. In addition, the use of the Han-Eco housing makes the connector with the Han A contact insert lighter, and has corrosion resistance due to its strong plastic, and application flexibility due to its assembly speed.
