Hammond's 1551W series of miniature plastic enclosures are designed to safely protect electronic equipment from the elements of the outdoor environment. Each case comes with self-tapping cover screws and replaceable silicone gaskets. All sizes are available with or without integrated mounting flange. Available in light grey and black, the satin-textured finish and sturdy polycarbonate material make these shells resistant to damage from weathering and scratches. PCB brackets are molded into each box, making them ideal for mounting small circuit boards.
The 1551W series is designed to meet the IP68 protection standard, providing excellent protection against liquid dust intrusion. And the polycarbonate material is flame retardant with a flammability rating of UL94 V-0. The included cover mounting screws are stainless steel and are located on the outside of the silicone gasket for added protection.
Ideal for mounting small PCBs, the 1551W series is molded from solid polycarbonate，and suitable for outdoor use, polycarbonate is UL94 V-0 flammable, satin textured finish, also comes with a cover and four plastic #4 self-tapping screws, available with or without an integrated wall mount flange, While the PCB holder is moulded inside for easy installation, comes with a replaceable silicone gasket to keep out water or dust and is designed to meet IP68 rating requirements
