RS Components now offers a complete line of circular connectors manufactured by CONEC Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH, a unit of Amphenol Group.
These connectors provide engineers with all the performance required to meet the ISO11801 class D standard for signal transmission up to 100Mbit/s. And offering a 0.8mm diameter contact pin, the very compact range M8x1 D encoded circular connector is fully optimized for industrial automation applications
Key features of the connector include variable installation and connection options on the device side, power and data signals on a data pair, and continuous shielding. Suitable for a variety of Ethernet-based communication applications, including industrial interfaces and control and regulation units, as well as cameras, sensors and robot-based applications, the device requires very little mounting space.
Electrical characteristics include 50VAC and 60VDC operating voltages and rated current up to 4A at 40C. In addition, all equipment is waterproof protection, protection class IP67.
Field connectable connectors include axial female and male connectors, and optional screw connections (female) or crimp connections (female and male) are available.
