The DS4 Intelligent Oxygen sensor from EC Sense is an industrial-grade intelligent gas sensor using reliable printed solid polymer electrochemical sensor technology. Small volume and compact structure design, using high-performance microprocessor, equipped with high precision ADC, as well as intelligent algorithm design, can be easily integrated into the Internet of Things and other monitoring systems, widely used in industrial, commercial, civil and medical fields.

         

The sensor adopts standard industry 4 series size design, 20 x 16.6mm cylindrical shell, users can easily carry out iterative design of new products, suitable for stationary gas detector, portable detection instrument, saving the shell design cost of new product upgrades. Standard three-electrode pin size (VCC_ power positive, GND_ power negative, IO_ data transceiver).

Intelligent gas sensor performance and life self-test, whether in the case of no measured gas regularly self-test life and performance indicators, and output warning signal, prompt sensor maintenance or replacement of the sensor. This function provides reliable basic data for intelligent instrument design, so that the gas detection instrument has safety, reliability and remote maintenance. The user can obtain the fault information of the normal operation, weak performance, failure or falling off of the sensor through the command, which provides the user with the early warning of abnormal sensor and improves the security.

     

Each DS4 smart gas sensor is professionally calibrated by the factory. The calibration information is stored in the internal chip of the product, and users can directly use it without the need for ventilation calibration. The factory calibration adopts the dispersive gas calibration and the simulation of environmental climate calibration, which is closer to the actual application environment of the user, and improves the accuracy of the data measured by the gas detection instrument using the dispersive measurement (when the gas detection instrument adopts the pumping measurement mode, secondary calibration should be carried out according to the design parameters of the instrument system).

The sensor does not need to be preheated, intelligent hardware design, so that the gas sensor is still in the working state in the case of no power supply, to ensure that the gas monitoring can start immediately after power on at any time and anywhere, no in the Internet of Things applications or battery applications, in the design of energy saving and low power consumption, do not have to worry about the problem of long preheating wait time, slow data acquisition. Moreover, users can also customize their own user code for instrument identification. When inserting other types of user code, the instrument can automatically identify whether the user code is correct. For incorrect user code, the instrument can display error prompt to remind users to insert the correct sensor.

 

The sensor also features sleep, which allows users to customize sleep and wake modes for low-power batteries or IoT applications. It can output identity information, such as gas type and detection range, which is conducive to the design of self-identification function and more flexible use. At the same time, the output signal of UART 3.3V half duplex single bus mode is adopted. Without complicated communication protocols, the gas concentration value can be directly output, making the secondary development application program design more flexible, simple and fast.
