Vishay Custom Magnetics IHCM-2321AA-10 features a low-profile surface mount structure that is more robust than conventional large ring based devices while providing superior performance in the +155C temperature range. It was New Yorker Electronics that provided the new Vishay IHCM common mode choke for commercial applications.
The device is surface-mounted and is compatible with automatic pick and place assembly for better flexibility in board layout. Due to its low-key profile, the device offers a smaller size and volume, making it more immune to shock and vibration, while an improved core design expands current saturation to 35A.
The device is suitable for commercial grade DC/DC converters, EMI filters and high current filters for motor control and noise suppression of other circuits in industrial and telecommunications applications. It includes excellent saturation characteristics, low DCR losses, and pressure resistance between coils of 1500VDC media.
The device is ROHS compliant, halogen-free and Vishay Green. Through-hole options are available in standard surface-mounted configurations, as well as customizable inductance, impedance, DCR and current rating options.
