ACPL-W611/ACPL-P611 is an optically coupled gate that combines a GaAsP light-emitting diode with an integrated high-gain photodetector. The output of the detector IC is an open-collector Schottky clamp transistor. The internal shielding provides the ACPL-W611 with a common mode transient immunity specification of 10000 V/μs. This unique design provides maximum AC and DC circuit isolation while achieving TTL compatibility.

The AC and DC operating parameters of the optical coupler are guaranteed from -40°C to +100°C, allowing for trouble-free system performance. ACPL-W611/ACPL-P611 is suitable for high-speed logic interfaces, input/output buffering, as line receivers in environments that conventional line receivers cannot tolerate, and recommended for use in extremely high ground or induced noise environments.
