Atmel's simplified feature set SMART SAM D09 ARM-Cortex-M0 + MCU is designed for simple code migration between SAM D series devices.
Compact devices are pin compatible with the company's SAM D10 series. This makes it easy to migrate to large devices with additional features. The maximum frequency of the SAM D09 device is 48MHz. They are available in 14 to 24 pin packages with up to 16KB of flash and 4KB or SRAM. All devices include an Atmel event system for peripheral signals and support for capacitive touch interfaces.
