Socapex RJ Field Cat 6 interconnect modules are three new series of Category 6 Ethernet connectors with a fast data rate of 1Gb / s at 250MHz and can be used in three different series.
These connectors are designed for Ethernet in harsh environments, provide shock and vibration protection, and seal against dust and liquids from entering the IP68. This series has Amphenol's patented RJStop concept, which allows standard RJ45 cable sets to be terminated in the field without the use of tools or wiring. The new range is compatible with 10 BaseT, 100 BaseTX and 1000 BaseT for data transmission up to 250 MHz according to EIA / TIA 568 and conforms to Class 11 of ISO 11801.
The RJF5446 series has a plastic casing and complies with IEC 60603-7 specification 12. It has a push / pull coupling function, which can improve the on-site processing speed, and is compatible with 6mm to 13mm diameter cables. The sealing grade reaches IP68, which can prevent water ingress and can withstand more than 1000 hours of salt spray exposure. It also has flame retardant / low smoke certification and meets the requirements of UL94 V0 and NFF 16102, DIN 5510-2. The operating temperature range is -40C to + 85C.
The RJFRB series is a plastic interconnect with reverse bayonet coupling, mainly used in industrial and telecommunications applications, but it is also suitable for robotics and motion control. It is compatible with cable diameters from 5.5mm to 7mm, and its patented RJStop (r) system enables standard RJ45 cable sets to be used in protective composite plugs to prevent vibration, dust and liquids. The operating temperature range of the RJFRB series is -40C to + 85C, and at least 500 matching cycles are specified.
For applications requiring connectors that meet the Atex Zone 2 standard, the RJFTV6X series circular connectors have a metal housing and comply with the Industrial Ethernet specification EN60079-15 for Zone 2, Class I, Zone 2, low-power non-sparking connectors.
Other applications include factory automation, entertainment systems, video systems, geophysics, sensors and machine tools.
