The new AMS AS5047P magnetic position sensor has higher speed and higher resolution incremental output, while the new 47 series is targeted at motor and motion control applications. AS5047P has AMS's DAEC (Dynamic Angle Error Compensation) technology, which provides excellent angle measurement accuracy even at extremely high speeds. The company said that the high-speed performance and incremental ABI output of the 47 series magnetic sensors make it a reliable replacement for optical encoders.
