The HA-5320 is designed for use in precision, high-speed data acquisition systems. The circuit consists of an input transconductance amplifier, a low leakage analog switch and an output integrated amplifier, which can provide high current charging. The analog switch regards the virtual ground as the load; Thus, the charge injection on the capacitor is kept constant throughout the input/output voltage range.
The base voltage generated by this charge injection can be adjusted to zero by using the offset regulation input. The device includes a holding capacitor. However, if the sagging rate needs to be increased at the expense of acquisition time, additional holding capacitance can be added externally.
The monolithic device is manufactured using an Intersil dielectric isolation process that minimizes stray capacitance and eliminates SCRS. This allows for higher speed and latch-free operation.
