As the latest addition to Bourns' extensive AEC-Q200 compliant product lineup, the SA2-A Series is specifically engineered to meet the stringent requirements of harsh environments, ensuring exceptional reliability, durability, and regulatory compliance.
The SA2-A Series is designed to address advanced surge protection needs across multiple market applications. Rigorous AEC-Q200 testing has confirmed its superior electrical performance, making the SA2-A Series an outstanding high-voltage surge protection solution for various challenging environments. These include electric vehicle charging stations, industrial control systems, photovoltaic equipment, HVAC systems, and power supplies. Additionally, the new Bourns GDT is well-suited for equipment requiring Protective Earth (PE) isolation in compliance with IEC 62368-1 standards.
The SA2-A Series offers breakdown voltages ranging from 3000 V to 7200 V, exceptional energy dissipation capabilities, and high insulation resistance. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, these high-voltage GDTs are designed to handle and dissipate high-energy surges, providing crucial protection for sensitive electronic systems against harmful voltage spikes. The durable design of the SA2-A Series ensures reliable surge protection throughout the lifecycle of the equipment, helping to reduce maintenance requirements and extend replacement intervals.
